Volunteer Opportunities and Internships

Would you like to donate your time and talent to Turningpoint? There are many opportunities to make a difference for a day, for a special project, or to contribute time on an ongoing basis.

  • Second Chances Thrift Store

    We are seeking several volunteers to work at Second Chances Thrift Store in River Falls to manage inventory. We are also in need of pick-up drivers and furniture movers. Movers must be able to lift 50-75 pounds. A driver’s license and willingness to utilize your own truck or trailer would be helpful, but is not required.

  • Cleaning: Administrative Offices and Support Group Rooms

    We are seeking one or more volunteers to assist with weekly light cleaning of the third floor of our Second Chances building, which houses offices, a meeting room, and a support group room. Responsibilities include emptying trash, dusting, sweeping and mopping hardwood floors, and cleaning a small bathroom. ​
